Jamie’s guardian’s court support program

The Jamie’s guardians court support program is run by volunteers who have been through the court system themselves and understand the traps and pitfalls of the legal system. Above all else, our advocates ensure the client’s physical and mental safety, as well as ensuring their emotional needs are met by being a support in an otherwise hostile environment.

In regional NSW FACAA even have a fully trained and fully approved court support puppy named Fari. Fari provides much needed petting and cuddles while survivors are testifying, and will remain silent when he needs to.

Our courtroom advocates, maintain constant professionalism at all times, they are well-trained in courtroom etiquette and protocols. Our goal with this program is to help get the survivors the justice they deserve.
